The Purple Book of Sucess Chapter Review

A good friend of mine who is very much spiritually led asks that I review the first two chapters of the book The Purple Book of Success: How Every Woman Can Create Her Very Own Success by Nickcole Byrd. In both chapters one is led off with sound information as to how to start a journey to success using Christian principles and plain old common sense. The chapters discuss how mixing the two will ultimately lead you to the end of your journey/goals that has been ordained by the one and only God.

It also reiterates how nothing is worth anything without walking hand in hand with God. It discusses that which you can touch and that which you can only feel or sense is the right direction in your success journey. As the author so aptly put it, “The tangibles, the bank account, the career, are the overflow of the underlying successes in your life. Working toward these sets you up for the ultimate success -- and that is balance and true fulfillment in mind, body and spirit. There should be one defining emotion about success.”

The author also talks about having strength, courage and obedience to fulfill your dreams of success. She expresses that without any of the three, you are setting yourself up for failure. As a spiritual person herself, the author says through her Principles of Power that if you follow them, you will become successful.

Do I feel that it is all possible? Of course; it only takes what you are willing to commit to.
